What is Title I

Title I is a program that provides federal funds through the Georgia Department of Education to local educational agencies (LEAs) and public schools with high numbers or percentages of children in poverty to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic content and student academic achievement standards.

HCCA receives funding through the Federal Title I Program for economically disadvantaged families as a school-wide Title I School.

Fulton County Schools will hold their Federal Programs FY26 Input Meetings on Microsoft Teams on March 25 at 9:00 a.m. and March 26 at 1:00 p.m. All school staff, parents, and community members are welcome to attend. The purpose of the meetings is to gain feedback on family and community engagement, academics, federal programs, and more.
